What do you guys think the canuck chances are in the cup. I think they should win the west fairly easily. Detriot is too banged up, Dallas isn't that consistant, the preds are only ok. This year is really the best year for the canucks in a long time.

It will come down to VAN, DET and SJ. I bet the Canucks to win the cup before the year started at +1000. This is the best team they've ever had depth wise. As long as they can get their D healthy they're going deep this year.

Don't need Ozzy he blows and won't help the team. Stuart is a pretty solid stay at home D-man though. Canucks/Wings probably in West Finals then Canucks in 6.

Just watched the highlights of the MTL/BOS game Good old time hockey in that one. Nice right landed by Price to knock Thomas down then a good laugh by both afterwards. Some other B got one punched as well. Good stuff

I'll be honest right off the bat Mr Green and say that I am not a Canucks fan so my sight may be clouded by my dislike for that team. I simply cannot see how Vancouver might get to the Cup finals. Yes, they will finish top of the Northwest and will likely knock off a lowly Minnesota or Nashville both which do not have the depth to defeat the knucks in a 7 game series. However, if Van comes up against the Wings (midseason injuries will not pull them out of a cup run), Sharks, or Flames (as they are right now) I would not be convinced that a team that looks quite similar to last years nucks would clinch it. Even as I write this I find it pointless to speculate, as only time will tell.

glad that you enjoyed the bruins/habs game...im sure both coaches are thankful their goalies walked away unscathed.

It absurd to say that you cant see how the canucks can make it to the cup finals. They are the most dominant and explosive team in the game right now and have been for the past 2 or so months. Im not a Van fan but i can tell u that they have been playing unreal hockey. Whether or not they make it to the finals or win the cup will only be seen in time but to say u cant see how they could is stupid.

That being said, what do we think about the islanders at +185 tonight. I know that the game is in MTL and the islanders are miserable but that game last night had to leave MTL tired. 14 goals and 187 penalty minutes. Do we think that is enough to give the islanders +185 the green light?

NOT TRUE!! being a canadian, i find it pretty easy to catch their games. the first jersey i ever purchased was a Bure #96 (not 10). my dislike for that team mostly stems from my vancouver born relatives flaunting their recent success whenever we chat.

Rise, we are still 25 games from the playoffs. The Nucks could lose the same way a hot montreal team knocked off Was and Pit last year. it will be interesting to see who they play! i am excited that this is the first year in at least five that detroit and san jose will, crossing my fingers, not finish first in the west.

Ha the islanders have been rebuilding for 10 yrs already. Though im not looking forward to 10 years from now when they r playing in that new stadium in quebec.
