Hey guys.
Didn't see any value yesterday so I didn't bet anything (also tons of value with the NFL so I was busy with that).

Anyway last time I was 1-1 +1 unit

Really disappointed with Vancouver on Saturday as they had a very probable chance to beat Detroit and show they are the #1 team in the Western conference.
Anyway, the beat goes on.

Now I have been asked to post rational behind my picks and although I'm not someone to ramble on I will write a few things about today's bigger picks:

NY Rangers should knock off Montreal. Montreal has been coming back to earth lately after their phenomenal start. NY is going the other way now that Gaborik is healthy and the team has started to gel. I see this game being close in the first two periods with NY grinding out a big home win by a 4-2 score.

Washington is back after a terrible stretch in December. The odds makers continue to heavily juice their home starts and give reasonable prices in their away games. Of course this is reflected in their home and away record disparity. Nonetheless, I think that Washington will start to win on the road as they need to pick up valuable points to stay in the race for their division (Tampa) and the conference (Pitt and Philly). Plus a visit to Florida never hurts, especially when the Panthers are streaking in the wrong direction (0-3 last 3). Score at 5-3.

Philadelphia is a strange pick for me today. I think if this game was played a little over a week ago the line would have been -140. Since then, Buffalo has been 3-1 with a very strong win against the always tough SJ Sharks (even though the Sharks are struggling). Flat out, Miller has been stellar and the Sabres have found a way to win. Now you would think stay with the hot hand (Miller) but I'm not. Philadelphia is chomping at the bit because Sydney Crosby is out and they see a real chance to put some distance between them and their closest competition (Pens) to be the conference winner. They will be firing on all cylinders and should win in regulation 3-1.
