NY Rangers tonight, bet of the night

I am struggling to comprehend why the Rangers are not a more comfortable favourite with the bookmakers, however, I am happy to oblige. The puckline is also very tempting.

The visitors have few injuries, whereas the IR of the Devils continues to grow, and their morale must be at an all-time low. They continue to get thrashed home and away. Some will say that they are "due a win", but that does not do it for me. Maybe it will happen tonight, probably it won't, in my opinion. There are easier games, the Rangers are a pretty solid team for me, and should get the job done relatively comfortably.

Let's go boys, back the Rangers tonight.

Wow, i just double checked the odds on the Rangers puckline. I can't believe what they're offering, if this comes in, just a great bet.

The Devils have lost the vast majority of their games at home by more than a goal. It's almost like I expect to be missing something with the odds this big on the Rangers puckline but I don't see it.

Brodeur is starting tonight, a man of his history won't be benched long term. NJ signed there death certificate when they went after kolvochuck..everyone is on the rangers and pens tonight. I think one will lose..

Put the boot on the other foot and consider why you'd be tempted to back the Devils. The sole reasons are that they are close by and sort of local rivals and that the Devils may be due a win. However, they had a longer losing streak earlier in the season so i don't see why the Rangers cannot put them to the sword again tonight. The Devils' form and record is simply terrible and they are at the bottom of the table for a very good reason. A decent Rangers team should win this barring a genuine surprise tonight.

If New Jersey does win this i'll be gutted and surprised at the same time but I maintain that the Rangers are the best bet of the night, value and probability wise.

Personally i don't think about stuff like it becoming a public bet. I really don't believe in superstitions like that and to be honest it has no effect on how the Rangers will play imo.
