Islanders/Penguins Wednesday night

Islanders traded away their best defensemen, James Wisniewski today to Montreal. Guy was a huge asset for them, in both zones. Even though the Penguins play tonight, I have a feeling they easily take care of the Islanders tomorrow.

Agree, I like the move for the Islanders. They traded a 3rd for him last summer, so getting the 2nd is a great return. Plus, chances are they wouldn't resign him next summer anyways.

The weird thing about the NHL is that more often than not you'll see teams like edmonton, toronto and islanders wait until they're statistically eliminated from a playoff spot and then they'll trade away assets for picks and somehow go on a 10-2 run. These down and out teams can be dangerous. That being said I'm on the Pitts PL tonight and the over.

I took Pens -1 earlier too.
