Roy out for season for the Sabres

Wow they can kiss their season goodbye. Roy is their best all around player by far.

Probably going to start fading the Sabres from now on... Roy really is the cornerstone of their franchise on offence. He plays at ES, on the #1 PP unit and gets many minutes on the PK unit too. That's just terrible news for Lindy Ruff and the Buffalo Sabres.

Unless Buffalo goes out and gets some immediate offensive help, I don't see them being able to stay in the playoff race. AHL call-ups won't be able to fill the void that Roy is leaving.

That's too bad, I kind of like BUF and Lindy. Wonder if they are truly done or if the rest will pick it up? Cheers
