Usually when teams are on losing or winning streaks they keep making the streak until the next big break. This is Washington's last game before they get 2 days off, which means they will probably lose this game and then have a rest and cut their streak. Proven statistic!

Brian Elliot in net for the Sens which is a huge advantage for the Caps.

He hasn't earned a win in his last six outings, and has given up 14 goals in his last three games.
(Updated 12/19/2010).

If the Capitals come out with some jump and put up some quick goals they will not lose this game. Elliot is struggling to see the puck and when I saw him play against the Av's he was uncertain on many shots.

Finally... now, if they start playing again, maybe they will make the PL so ... i can make some money :P
