Accuscore is giving away 1 or 2 free hockey picks per day, so I thought I would track how they do in this thread. I'll bet 1 unit risking for underdogs and 1 unit to win for favorites.

Yeah accuscore can really mess with your head. I get it for free because I'm subscribed to espn. I sometimes check the accuscore %s against what I already have picked for confirmation, but you shouldn't give too much weight(and certainly not any money) toward what accuscore predicts. It's nothing more than just interesting...that being said, I think TB wins tonight

Yeah, Accuscore should primarily be used as a resource or tool in your handicapping arsenal, not the end all be all. That said tho, I haven't heard anything good or bad about their actual paid advisor service which supposedly is people taking the data that was mined combing through it and selecting picks. Either way tho not sure I would put too much stock into it. BOL though if you decide to play their picks. Should be interesting to see what you come up with in your tracking.

I couldnt agree more with skilz. Accuscore should be used only as a tool for following stats. It does help a lot that way to figure out trends, but i wouldnt use it to pick a game based on who they think is gonna win. GL though.

I know that some people say that Accuscore sucks, but it seems to me that they're going about things the right way. They do computer simulations of games and that is how a lot of professional gamblers beat sports betting. I would have thought that Accuscore would at least be able to beat opening lines.
