I'm a fan of NHL and Portuguese'm relatively unknown here in the forum, however I have been doing well recently in betting on the NHL, so I decided to start sharing with you my betting.

New Jersey Devils @Philadelphia Flyers

It is the second game of the season and the week between these two teams, this was the first game last Saturday in New Jersey, game in which the men of the house led to better and won 2-1 (using the shootout).

At a time when the Devils were trying to create some momentum in the league and go for a recovery, it disappeared in an area of 1, 2 minutes on Thursday afternoon, when it suffered two-goal flurry. After four straight wins at home that they have had four days of rest may not have been desirable for a team that tried to assert itself.

In goal will be Johan Hedberg, a man who entered the game against the Canadiens last very motivated since it came from a series of five games in which he had suffered only 5 goals at half carried a shutout. However two minutes in front of the Habs suffered two goals in just three shots could have done girl, the responsiveness of Hedberg will be in my opinion the biggest question of this game.

The Flyers came from a series of three straight games without knowing the taste of victory, which meant a drop to second place in the Atlantic Division, behind a warm Penguins. The problem has been n oataque in only 3 goals scored only three goals in those three games include the game last Wednesday against the Bruins that did not score any goals and concede three goals from the opponent.


Conclusion: Not a change of lines made for the game against the Bruins allowed an offensive boost for the Flyers, as there was a Tim Thomas from the other world, but as for me these two days of rest for the Flyers came in good time, as to me is the time needed to reorganize the troops and get back to winning ways and also avenge the defeat last Saturday against the Devils. For today I expect a good reaction from the men of the house and I believe they will leave for a comfortable victory

San Jose Sharks @ Montreal Canadiens

The Sharks continue to land in Canada to perform the second of five games on this trip read. It's a trip they seek to improve something in this team and that the push for the summit conference places west. They began this journey in the best way to win in the Ottawa Sens 4-0, but the Sharks still have won only three of the last eight games, dropping to 4th in Pacific Division, they are still only three points of leaders of their division, the Dallas Stars.

The problem has not been properly attack, Patrick Marle has four points in five games, and Dany Heatley with 11 points from their last nine games. The problem has been the defense that has alternated between good and bad view, an example is nothing better than guardian who will begin play this afternoon, Antti Niemi, who after a big game against the old fellow from Chicago where he made 30 saves, suffers from nothing six goals against the Canucks, then returned on goal in a game where he made the first shutout of the season. Boston Bruins @ Toronto Maple Leafs

It is the second of six match between these two teams, the first was at the end of October and visited with the status of the Bruins won 2-0.

The Bruins come from a great 8-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning in a game where almost everything went perfect, Tim Thomas once again at large, a cohesive team defensively, a frightening attack, and just missed the goal by Marc Savard to be a perfect night, as this game marked the return after a long absence from Savard. In nearly 16 minutes on the field Savard just got a shot on goal and nothing else. Still oseu coach Claude Julien has already stated that he liked what he saw from Savard.

In goal will be no major surprises again Tim Thomas adds that a guardian victory after wins and great views behind great views, there is not much to add to the performance that this man has put forward.


After a 4-0-0 early in the season, things anything but good things in Toronto, also come from a home defeat against one of the worst teams in the league, the Oilers. These latest results have brought us into near-final of the league table. Things go wrong especially in the attack, which scored only 11 goals in his last seven games.

In goal will be Guigere which incidentally after about three weeks of absence returned to play in this game against the Oilers, did not return to give the best 5 goals to opponents.

Conclusion: The Bruins come off two wins moralizing, as it were against direct rivals for the title of this conference and with the addition of this team wins Savard to a stronger offensive power. I see no arguments for the team defeated the Maple Leafs a better team in all areas of the team. So I believe in victory and loose from the men of Boston.

Pittsburgh Penguins @Columbus Blue Jacket

The Penguins continue to score victory after victory, and ggrande part of that success has been Sidney Crosby, who in the last 14 games had at least one point each. Comes from the Penguins a 3-2 win against Atlanta, and once again it was Sidney Crosby doing the household expenses, scoring 3 goals.

Part of the success has also been a Marc-Andre Fleury rejuvenated in the last 10 games and won nine of them gave an average of 1.68 goals per game to their opponents.

The Jackets seemed to go fine, but the losses back-to-back facing the Red Wings seem to have done much damage, since those losses after these men came back to lose two more games, first against Nashville on Wednesday and goes since last lost at home for some unthinkable 5-0 in the Sabres. It was a game where the Jackets barely played, took 37 shots compared to just 19, did not substantiate any of the six who were given opportunities PowerPlay and also suffered third goal in a situation of Power Play

Conclusion: This is a continuation bet on the one hand we have a team that has created a huge momentum, eight straight wins and the other side is a team that has not been well in recent games. So with odds above 1.80 I see much value in the victory of the Penguins.
