    How many games go to overtime
    Does anyone know how many NHL games go into overtime on average? Or where I could find some info on it

    41 games out of 203 have gone into OT this year

                  Last year there were 299 games that went into overtime to put into perspective of a full nhl season.

                    The official NHL website has a pretty good sortable database of records. Can use the menu to figure OT, SO, etc. Cheers

                      sometimes i think about picking a game to go to ot in soccer or hockey but it seems so reckless.

                        Well what i was thinking was playing the 3 way lines and betting both teams useing the Arbitrage calculator and not betting the Draw. Don't think that would be a good idea now.
