Rick DiPietro plays with new equipment tonight

Goalie equipment is the hardest equipment to break in and get used to. He will be wearing all pink tonight for Breast Cancer awareness month.

This can be taken a few ways here...

1-Throws the Lightning Players off when shooting, they are not used to seeing all pink in net, might cause a distraction.

2-DiPietro has very good Karma tonight for doing this and plays remarkable

3-DiPietro will fall apart and not save much due to the new equipment not being broken in

as a goalie.. goalie pads do not get broken in a week, need at least 15 20 practice games.

You need like a month for them to get broken in, not a week. Goalie pads are very tough
