Ok so today I am offering to the deal again to earn some points and maybe get a mention in tomorrow’s blog.

List the hockey play you feel the best about and if I select your play I will give you 10 points. If your play wins I will give you an additional 40 points and tomorrow’s blog will be in appreciation of you.

I will only be selecting one game and the thread closes at 6PM this afternoon.

It’s a hokey concept but it’s free points for doing basically what you’re doing anyways.

I used my own game yesterday, I had the Blues and the under. I saw people kept posting in the thread but obviously overlooked the post I made about only doing this periodically.

I can't afford to do this every day so it will only be done once or twice a week until I run out of points.

Boston @ Washington Over 6 Goals (+110)

The Caps & B's are Red Hot and average 5.6 and 5 goals a game, respectively. Neither team has played a squad like they'll see tonight. Each goalie will see 35+ shots tonight - The horn will sound and the lights will flash! This will be a Penalty heavy game... which means LOTS of Power Plays... the Caps have been successful in killing them up till now but they haven't played anyone as good as this B's team. To boot: The public is getting overly excited about the 6 total as they are used to seeing 5 or 5.5 and they are taking the Under at a price of -130. The books are loving it... the line won't come down. I'm on the Over.

Has either team added or lost any substantial players? I ask this because based on this years result for both squads the under makes sense but I don't know if that is really a product of the roster changes (if any) or the teams they have played. Over the last 10 meetings between the teams the over is 7-3.

Heard about the FLU going around the Wild locker room. Might want to check that out I heard about it on here form a poster. Could have an effect on the total if one team comes out sluggish or it could have no effect at all. Just an opinion, BOL with whatever you choose.

If the entire Wild team did have the flu.... what's to say that Vancouver couldn't score 5 or 6 on thier own? I'm not sure I get the assumption that since they'll be slow to react that the game will stay under. That notion doesn't attempt to take the other team into account at all.

I'm not on this game at all and not trying to get anyone off of it... simply playing "devil's advocate".

One of the options I gave myself this morning was Nashville PL. There was some good suggestions by everyone but I can only choose one and this one has 2 things that appeal to me. It coincides with one of my options and it affords me the opportunity to wager on something I have yet to do, that being a regulation time bet.

I appreciate everyone participation and will give a little something to everyone who submitted prior to this post. Nothing much, just a show of appreciation.
