    Wal's Daily Hockey Options 10/18/10
Hockey is new to me, I mean I don’t know what the positions are, well I know what a goalie is but that’s just about where it ends. I don’t know who the players are or which players are more valuable on which teams. I don’t know which key injuries effect which teams more drastically. Basically I don’t know hockey so I am approaching it strictly from a stats and line movement perspective.

Listed below are several options that I have capped and like but since this is new I don’t want to play the field just yet. I want to target one or maybe two games that have the best chance to win. The games listed are the games I like but I could use a little help from you. If you see something you like from the list of options let me know. I could benefit from those that know this games knowledge.

Games I am choosing from tonight are…………………………….

    Dallas Stars (+110)
    St Louis Blues (-140)
    Blues/Blackhawks under 5.5 (-120)
    Islanders/Leafs under 5.5 (-105)
    Senators/Penguins under 5.5 (-105)

    Hello wal66:

As you read this, bear in mind my sig and always keep that in mind. ( it's called gambling, not winning) but with that said, I've found that hockey is one of those sports that gets easier to place money on as the season progresses.

The teams are always starting a new season with a majority of new players and they have to rid themselves of the summer rust as well as getting used to their new team mates. There are never any absolutes but as a general rule to thumb, check stats, especially starting goalies and always keep an eye on the injury list. A very good all around site I have found that I use quite often is Donbest.com/nhl.

Well, there's my two-cents worth, for whatever it's worth. I'm sure some will agree, others will disagree but in the end..........it's whatever works for you which is what you'll use and be comfortable with........

As always, Good Luck and let's win some $$$$$$$

        Official Plays:

        St Louis Blues (+125)
        Blues/Blackhawks under 5.5 (-120)

I don't generally do side and total on a game but then I really have only been doing this for a week so it's not like I have a formula yet.

Well that sucked. Cruising along 2-0 and allow 2 goals with in 3 minutes of one another in the 3rd to tie it up.
Oh well at least the under won.
