A former resident of Toronto... I can only imagine the parade route being planned... Leading news story, ahead of a Major election coming up... sounds about right too....
Leafs can go suck a titty.. Gonna be the 6th year in a row without a playoff birth.

Thing is... It wont really matter who wins... so many factors go into a Metropolitan area the size of Toronto being successful.
But I really hate the idea of an angry fat white man like Ford winning. Makes up lies all the time and appeals to an idiotic populist crowd.

All the teams I support I've liked since the late '60's or early '70' none has ever changed. You will never get a Canadiens fan to say something good about the Loafs, I have a hard time just capitalizing the word Loafs.
I'm bad, I can't support the Expos anymore, they died but I was with them at the end.

Its not like the NHL felt bad and gave us another team to cheer for like Chicago Whitesocks/Cubs, Lakers/Clippers, Rangers/Islanders.

Well, being 45 years old, yes, I was too young to recall the last time we won the cup but that doesn't change the fact that no matter what, the Leaf are the richest and best supported team in the NHL. It doesn't matter if we win, lose or not even make the play-offs, we are die-hard fans and all your sarcasm and bs comments will never change a Leafs fan's heart..........

I for one have a feeling they will make it into the play-offs but then after that, it's day by day and game by game.........

Toronto Mike, I was born the last time the Leafs won the cup but I was 2 and don't remember. I believe it was '62?? The year Barilko was discovered as the T-Hip said it. I didn't mean to offend, as a Habs fan I just love to bug Loafs fans and always have, and probably will to the end of my days.
I do however have to question the part about the richest, best supported team in the NHL, see, Montreal.
