    Hockey Totals = Ridiculously Nerve-Racking
No other sport where it's instant make or break with zero warning or anticipation.

Very small on under 5.5 SJ/Col, thought it was buried 2-2 in 1st, someone will make it 3-2 here soon and it will be fuking intense last 10 minutes

tell me about it.. not just totals, but hockey in general is by far the most nerve wracking sport you can ever bet on.. that's the only reason i hate watching hockey. if you have a weak heart, do NOT bet hockey..

OT is stressful.. Shootouts are fukkin stressful.. Pulling out the goalie late is stressful.

Try betting +1.5 and un 5.5 each for big and you're losing 3-2 with 1:19 to go and your goalie is out.. can you make it without pacing the room??

IF you have a weak heart. do not bet hockey.. or at least do not watch it. it's fukkin sick.. no other sport compares to it.

love betting hockey totals, played sabres/sens under 5.5. tonight. Ruff has dressed a defensive minded lineup and spezza is a gametime decision with a groin injury.

Ya, I need this under too. I hate 3-2 games at this point. At the very best we are hoping to dodge an empty netter.

I was small on this and I couldn't tell you how hard my heart was beating that final minute..wow. If you want a fuking thrill, go all-in under 5.5..not even Bill fuking Bellicheck would be stoic enough to go through that unaffected.

2-2 game in the 1st going under 5.5 must happen less than 5% of the time?? Unreal

i had over 5.5 in the sharks game and i am pissed. 2-2 in the 1st period and all they get is 1 goal for the rest of the game.

If you had a large unit bet (or $5 for that matter, lol) on the Under 5.5 in this game last January, you know the pain.

Box score for the Minnesota Wild vs. Columbus Blue Jackets NHL game from January 23, 2010 on ESPN. Includes all goals, assists and penalty minutes stats.

                        Jan.23, 2010

3-0 Wild over the Bluejackets with 1:09 to play. The last 2 shots go in... 2 absolutely meaningless goals for Columbus with them down 4-0 and the last goal with 4 seconds to go. The highlights of the game are on nhl.com somewhere. Sickest beat ever in hockey in 20 years+.

I wasn't live betting/hedging that night but if I were I don't even think I could have got a line on the over with 30 seconds to go it was so absurd.

wow trader, that was bad..and the weird thing is, usually there's an EN at the end to cost your under, but not here.

but nothing beats my bad beat.. it was many yrs ago.. i had the dog vs CALG. i had +1.5, i had +250, and i had UN 5.5-140.. I was up 2-0 with about 3 min to go.. then 2-1 2 min go.. then 2-2, 1 min to go.. still looking great.. then with 20 secs to go, CALG 3-2.. still not that bad.. then EN with 2 secs to go. Instead of win em all.. i lose em all. biggest swing in my life..

and those were big bets too.. i puked on the floor and didnt sleep that night..

                            Gambling can really suck..

This is why I prefer overs to unders. Unders are unbelievably stressful when you have no goals to give and the net is empty Both are stressful but unders give me ulcers.
