He passed out 2 minutes into the game. No one knows why, but he was unconscious the entire 10 minutes he was on the ice and being carted off of it.

For that third ATL goal, here is food for thought:

67.4 Penalty Shot - If a player, except a goalkeeper, while play is in progress, falls on the puck, holds the puck, picks up the puck, or gathers the puck into his body or hands from the ice in the goal crease area, the play shall be stopped immediately and a penalty shot shall be awarded to the non-offending team.

Evander Kane is looking like he's going to have a BIG year. Nice period by the Thrashers considering that their goalie is in hospital and they had to have him in the back of their minds.

I guess it helps having all the ex-Hawks, although Big Buff on D? That could get ugly. He was brutal on defense agaisnt the Preds in the first round last year and I mean BRUTAL. Thank God Campbell returned so he could move back up front to MANHANDLE the Canucks.
