Home opener for the Leafs against a Canadiens team who has Carey Price in net who is just over coming the FLU and with out Mike Cammalleri, due to a one game suspension for slashing(s) another player in pre season.

Have to like the Leafs in this spot, they added Kris Versteeg to the offense who is an explosive winger who could easily net 2 goals tonight him self. The Leafs have a lot to prove this season, as why they are my underdog's of the East in the NHL.

LOL that's such a random thing to say with Versteeg being nothing more than a 20-goal scorer since coming into the league. A 2-goal performance from him would mean he'd already have scored 1/10 of his goal production in the opener. Versteeg's a dangler more than an explosive winger IMO, and the real scoring threat on his line is Mr. Phil Kessel.

No way Leafs should be -145 at home pretty much ever in my opinion. At least until they prove they are capable of having those lines. With that being said I still think they win and I am passing on the sides in this one and sticking to the totals.
