Yeah Quick played real well. I have noticed over the years of being a Wings fan that it seems like this happens to them at home a few games a year. A game where they get 50 plus shots and get SO. This is the first one this year but I bet it will happen again.

Seemed like it was on pace with 4 goals through 2 and then 0 in 3rd Ah well at least it was a small profititable day and still wish I played that Chicago/Col O 5.5 for more.

Thanks Yeah I went on a good run for about 3 weeks from 11/22 to 12/10 where I only had 1 negative day and made about 46 units betting mainly 1 to 3 unit bets. Regressed a little bit this past weekend mainly because I stuck my neck out and made a bad call on a 5 unit Chi/SJ O 5.5 play among a few other bad calls(caps & habs) that made me drop 12 units in 2 days. Hoping to get back on track here though this week and chip away.

Thanks I kind of like Flyers and Leafs too. Hard to bet against a winning streak that Pitt has right now but what better team than the Flyers a hated rival to end it? It will be interesting to see if line moves at all before game since it appears the public is heavy on Pitt. and hasnt moved more than 3 cents all day

Crosby loves doing well against Phillys. I saw his record against them - forgot the stat, but it's incredible how many times he scores against them.

As for the other match, i just think oilers are better side than the leafs, and traditionally, the leafs dont perform well on the road so i think the hosts are a solid bet.

Same thinking I had when I put two units on them to win in regulation. If you look at PIT's steak, outside of VAN and ATL, none of those wins are all that impressive. Let's see how they handle a real team that has offense, defense, and goaltending on the second game of a road trip. Only thing to consider is Malkin is back tonight but Pronger will probably slewfoot him on an icing call and end his career.

I really hate this kind of thinking. What does it matter what Crosby has done against PHI in the past? What has he done against Boucher? What has he done against this specific lineup? Who cares if he lit up Emery or Leighton? Got to keep it relevant.

I think it is relevant a player's record against a team. It shows that he is probably extra motivated to perform well and help his team win when they play the Phillys. I respect your opinion though.

Makes no sense. You think Crosby's motivated by his opponents? Every player is going to try their hardest every game because every point goes to their total which is how they are valued in the league which decides how much they make.

Will the same defensive duo be on the ice to shut down Crosby?

Is Crosby playing with the same linemates he played in the games he played PHI?

How has he done against Boucher in his career?

How has PIT fared when playing in PHI?

These are questions that are a lot more relevant than Crosby putting points up against Emery/Leighton last year or however far back you are going.

3 meetings between this two teams this season, in both games Fleury started PIT lost and both were in PIT. In the one meeting in PHI, PHI lost 5-1 but it wasn't with Boucher in net. In fact, in all 3 meetings this season Boucher has never started. In one of those games Crosby was held scoreless.

So ask yourself, is tonight going to resemble any of those other 3 games? The only constant pattern is Fleury has lost on home ice twice to PHI already, and now he's playing in PHI. So if anything, it isn't Crosby putting up points against PHI (because he's only done it against Bobrovsky) that should be your concern, it's whether or not Fleury can beat a team he hasn't been able to in both previous meetings.

I dont really use a "system" I look at quite a few different things to come up with my plays but alot of it comes from just watching the games and understanding situations. The philly game yesterday is a good example, if you just look at the stats/trends Pitt seemed like the obvious play. They have done real well at Philly in recent years and they were on 12 game winning streak getting one of there star players back. However, one thing you mentioned as well is who had they beat and there record vs winning teams? Philly actually has better record against winning teams. I knew Philly was going to come out strong as possible to get win and stop that winning streak against argubaly there biggest rival team. Doesn't mean they will win but I like there chances at home in a game like that. Also I did watch the line all day and there was no movement all day with most the money being on Pitt. Little bit of late money was on Philly and the under and both cashed as well. Those are just a few of the things I looked at for that game yesterday among many other things I look at. Today I am busy as fukk and not sure how much time I will have to look at anything. Its a huge card but most the games have early start times. Like theTB U 6, Fla, SJ, Wings PL, Yotes, Chi PL initially
