If for example, you had $1000.00 as your bankroll for starting off the hockey season. What would your betting unit be?

I would say probably not more than $25, but I guess it depends largely on what you're likely to play. There are going to be weeks during the season when those -250 favorites take a beating, so the answer depends on your threshold for pain.

I would say bet no more than 5% of your total roll so if you lose, you bet less and if you win, you bet more. Don't go big on one game either...

This is perfect if you are disciplined enough. This is optimal bankroll management at it's finest I usually only bet 1-3 units and at about that frequency as well.

This sounds like a good way of doind thigs. But, yeah, gotta be disciplined.
