I need to start hitting a winning streak. Right now I'm losing to much. Who here would say they have a record of over 80 % in their predictions on the Over/Under and ML's for particular NHL Games?

No one here is hitting 60%. No one anywhere is hitting at that rate. If anyone could hit that rate they'd be a tout by now or not worry about posting picks on a internet message board.Comment -

#6Hell, even when I/We find something that looks good and then jump in, it goes to shit. My wife, who does all my research, found something that over the past year and a half was actually 48-1 (no kidding). We'd never tried to play those types of plays before, but at 48-1.....Hey, it's worth a try, right? An it had even started out great this year. So we jump in and you guessed it. Those plays immediately turned and we went something like 10-7. The problem, most of those plays were at -200 or better....Hey, someone can hit 80%. I've seen it many times in my 32 years of capping. The problem is that no one can keep it up. If someone here told me they were hitting 80%, I'd want to start playing the other side...

#8If you stay disciplined and bet small and the same amount on each bet, over time (decades) you should come out well ahead if you take the opposite of joe public.Comment -

#9lol you know what I noticed. Everyone seems to be wrong in their bets. Why not just always go AGAINST the initial gut instict yano? No matter what team seems favorited to win, go the other way. Last night, everyone said San Jose and look who won, Calgary. It always seems to work like that against our odds
lol 80 %, lets see how well the reverse psychology worksComment -

#10Jeffries, I like it! Take a George Costanza approach. Like I look at the Anaheim/Chicago game tonight and I think of course the ducks will win. LOL! Maybe we should bet on Chicago then. LOL! I won't as I only like one game today in the NHL but the one "lock" I saw on the board was Anaheim.Comment -

#12Originally posted by jeffriesLol at least 12 people or so on this board say San Jose would win yesterday and they lost. The linesmen makes the lines to favor 1 team, only to really trick the betters into betting what usually looks like the better team actually losingComment -

#16Originally posted by jeffriesI didn't say everyone was wrong here. I said everyone was wrong with last night's San Jose's game, and I didn't mean that offensively. I didn't mean it sarcastically man. I'm just saying that many people were wrong last night with San Jose.. I'm not worried though, I know that theirs no guarantees in the world of sportsbetting man.
got it...let's do better tonite...Comment
