and he's the Captain of all things. A goalie can't be a captain.

I know I can't believe that assclown hasn't given it up yet It would definitely take some of the pressure off himself.

Luongo will be stripped of the "C" before the puck is dropped on opening season.

Actually I never thought too much about it but PuckOff made some good points while tipping a few cold ones. He convinced me.

even if you have to do it yourself huh? You might be right but how will he take it and who is going to take the C?

Phak Luongo. It shouldn't matter how he takes it. Other teams stripped their leader of the C and it worked out well. Look at Modano and Marleau. They never complained and were still effective players. Luongo should be a team player and just accept that he is not the best person or even positional player to be the Captain. I mena how the frig can you have your goalie as the Captain. It was one of the dumbest ideas ever in teh NHL. One of the twins should and likely will be the C.

i dont agree that the league can now just go back to other contracts that were signed in previous years and investigate them. didnt the league have to do that when they were signed? why did they pass those other long term deals off?

For weeks after the season, Roberto Luongo grappled with whether he wanted to remain the Vancouver Canucks captain.

"We decided to wait until I see him in September," said Gillis, who scrapped his original plan to meet with Luongo in July. "We're going to have a discussion about it and see where he's at. It's going to be a combination of input
