carcillo could be a decent player but instead he's an idiot and goon, why re-sign him? oh yeah, he fits the Philly style. they've also added shelley and odonnell too. i bet they'll lose a lot of games but win a lot of fights in '10-'11.

The Flyers have been a competitive hockey team for over a decade. (- the year before last.) Expect more of the same. When you get a new taste of the finals, you do what it takes to get back there.

Anyways.. EVERYBODY was supposed to come to the Kings. First it was Lindros, last year it was Gaborik, and now this year its Kovalchuk. Even when it appears as the Kings are Kovy's only real option.. The deal somehow still might not get done.

To Flyer fans:

How about Jarrett Stoll, Jonathan Quick, Scott Parse, and a 2nd 2011 for Jeff Carter.

Get rid of him. He never really lived up to the potential anyways and was always injured. Holmgren has done an amazing job so far picking up shelley/odonnell and meszaros. More character guys and depth.

no way kings give up kopitar and brown, wont happen............. think its a decent idea to get gagne, can give some scoring to the kings and brings leadership with him

I agree. I rather see Quick go to Philly for Gagne since Bernier will likely be LA's starter.

If a deal is made Kings will have to give up either Quick or Bernier....As a Kings fan I would rather pass on Gagne....who is IMO one concussion away from being done...His peak is behind him.....Then you have Quick vs Bernier...Quick had an excellent year but will he repeat??? Or what if they trade him and he shines in Philly while Bernier struggles.....We have not yet seen Bernier for a long stretch in the NHL..Yes he has shown some good things in the games he started but not enough yet......This trade is not worth the risk.

because Quick had an excellent year his value may never be higher. And as far as what if they trade Quick and he shines and Bernier struggles...if GM's thought like that no trade would ever get made. on the surface Bernier is probably more of a talent than Quick so trading Quick is risk worth taking if there's a good offer on the table.

Rangers signing Zherdev most likely mean they are trading Gagne for sure. I am still not sure if he is a good fit in LA but will be interested to see where he will end up.
