Coyotes -115.(Against Toronto) As long as Shane Doan is playing they are always a decent play against the .500 and below teams. Plus their new starting goalie has won 3 straight and has put this team on a winning streak.

Agreed, plus he's no spring chicken and Phoenix isn't a very good hockey team. I'm on Toronto as a small dog tonight because I believe they will be the team playing with some desperation, Phoenix is coming off a big win in a shootout over Anaheim and may let their guard down somewhat. The game is a 5PM start in Phoenix to accomodate the CBC and Hockey Night in Canada.

I don't usually bet on the Leafs, as a matter of fact I often bet against them in my plays, tonight I'll try to cash on my hometown team.

I've been fading Phoenix, Edmonton and Vancouver this year with good results so far. I hope it continues.

I don't usually bet on the Leafs, as a matter of fact I often bet against them in my plays.

Early in the Coyotes/Leafs game I have once again been reminded as to why I usually bet against the Leafs.

This is a poor hockey team (Toronto) going nowhere fast.

Usually after making a wager that you is a sure loser early in the game I get pissed off, but this was my own stupidity, oh well, live and learn.

I'm going to listen to the post game show on the radio and once again hear the Leaf fans show their (unfounded) optimism for this club. You would think they were gamblers that never want to admit they have lost.

I'm not one to talk, because I have my own problems picking winners, but I will never understand why anyone would put money on Toronto. I think they're the safest bet to lose that one can find in the league.
I've read articles how NFL bettors can make money on games involving teams like Dallas, and Pittsburgh, because they are "public" teams, popular teams that get support from bettors even when their performance doesn't merit it. (Not this year, obviously). I wonder if the same holds true for the Leafs, getting overvalued and leading to good value with their opponents. Just a theory.

Adding insult to injury, the other game I liked was Buffalo at +150, how the hell they could be such a big dog when they beat the same team last night is beyond me.

As for the Leafs, I usually bet against them, I know they are a poor excuse for a hockey team, but I figured they would play with some interest in the game, nope, dead wrong tonight.

What is making me sick is the fact I only played the one game tonight and will lose, had I split my wagers and played the other game I would have still shown a small profit (assuming Buff holds on to win), it's a sick feeling to have no hope of winning a game 5 minutes in.

Witch do you listen to BETPLOM ?,i don't even bother with 640 'cause they are paid shills ,the post game f*ck host is a total butt licker.i am listening right now to 590 instead,they really give it to the Leafs when the lose out of bitterness for not getting the radio broadcast.

I was listening to the post-game show on AM 640 with Andy Frost, I actually got through on the phone and was able to say what I wanted. This team is going nowhere fast, I'm tired of hearing all the excuses - it never ends, I wish they (mangement) could/would admit that this team is garbage and start making a plan to improve over the next few years.

Maybe they have learned the lesson that signing aged players to huge contracts with no-trade clauses is NOT the way to buid a team.

I can see the team firing someone and making a couple of other immediate changes and it will probably stop the bleeding in the short run, but it will only be a temporary fix, this team needs a MAJOR overhaul.

I believe I will either pass on games when I "think" the Leafs will win and bet against them when they are favoured and I like their opponent.
