    Horton traded to Boston
It's official... Florida traded Nathan Horton and Gregory Campbell for Dennis Wideman and a 2010 first round draft pick (15th overall).

Although I personally never liked Horton, I think this move should give Boston a much needed boost on offense.

Horton can be force when he wants to play, too bad that happened a few times a year down here for the panthers. Campbell is actualy great on the PK..a good shot blocker, decent on face-offs, and willing to step in and fight.

Horton is a great power forward. Good move by the B's to get some much needed help for Savard.

Like this move a lot as a Boston fan. Horton along with Hall/Seguin will give this offense a huge boost. Their defense will probably even be better without the turnover machine Wideman too. Don't know much about Campbell, but I assume he will be the replacement for Paille.

Great trade for Boston. Horton with Savard could be very dangerous.

Well it's looking like Boston may put Savard on the trade block. They are a little thin on defense after this trade.

Savard definitely wont be traded. Those rumors are ridiculous. He just signed a 7 year extension at a home town discount. If they traded him now no free agent will ever want to sign in Boston again. And they have every intention of re-signing Boychuk and Stuart, their defense is fine. Would love to see them add Kurtis Foster via free agency though.
