Just a heads up to all that Vancouver lost defenceman Mattias Ohlund to a four-game suspension Sunday. That means for games this week, they will be without four of their top five defencemen as Bieksa, Salo and Krajicek are all hurt. That leaves Willie Mitchell by his lonesome, and the specialty teams are really going to suffer.
After tonight against Calgary, Vancouvers next three are all on the road, at Edmonton, Minnesota, and St. Louis. Vancouver could theoretically be favoured in all those games, but be careful in light of the makeshift blueline. May be worth going against them the next few days.
