The Montreal Canadiens released veteran forward Georges Laraque Tuesday.
Laraque, 33, said last week that he expected to be let go by the team when the league's buyout window began Tuesday.
He had one goal and two assis-ts in 28 games last season.

I was always impressed by how soft Georges hands were when he played with the puck. He should try and become a pure goal scorer...like Tie Domi did late in his career...not!
