Toews killed my Nucks that round too but I agree with LB upon further inspection with Duncan Keith. He was a great shutdown guy all playoffs long. D-men are usually the unsung heroes of the playoffs.

Keith should have won the conn smythe. I cant remember a player that won the conn smythe(goailies excluded) that never scored in the finals. Congrats to the Hawks - well deserved.

About 7/1, I believe. They were behind Pittsburgh, Detroit, and San Jose.

5/1 after the regular season.

Montreal was about 30/1 to win the Cup before the season.

The Conn Smyth goes to the best player of the playoffs, not just the finals. Toews is a fine choice with his 29 points throughout the playoffs. He, like Hossa, was also incredibly hard to get off of the puck. The only other guy that I thought could have earned the award (if we weigh the finals more heavily) was Sharp. Awesome finals for him.

Congrats to Chicago and their fans. A team that followed the Pens footprint by sucking for a few years, get a few high draft picks, develop them and going with youth to win the Stanley Cup. There are huge cap issues to deal with next year but can enjoy the Stanley cup win now and worry about that later.

Congrats again to the fans who waited a long time to see the Cup back in Chicago!

I'm with LB-Keith would have been stellar for the pick. Toews definitely is the logical choice and I can understand why Keith didn't get the nod. I still don't get Dustin...I've been a reasonably skilled D-man for many years that knows the game, teach it, etc and I would struggle being in that role-for my buck I would love to have a beer with him. All hats off to the CHI organization as well as PHI they know what they're doing. Cheers
