All the money is pouring in on the Hawks right now and The Greek has already made the Hawks a favorite. The flyers have only been dogs at home 2 times this year. One time they beat the Hawks 3-2 as +110 dogs and they lost to the pens as +102 dogs early in the season. The line might be telling but im not buying the Flyers being a dog at home. A 9-1 home team a dog to a team they already beat 2 times at home. I think this is a classic case of books getting ready to bury Hawks bettors.

There were a couple of good writeups today on the game. If you take away the emotion I agree with some of the articles today giving favors to the home team. There is little to tell me that Pronger won't respond and that some subjective calls will go to Philly's side to account for the non-high-sticking call game 5. The stats are quite even overall and at this point I think Philly has demonstrated that they'll scrap to the end so double that effort at home. LB this had to be planned right from the beginning and I don't think it has anything to do with money coming in on the hawks. The Books are cooking something up right here and you're right that it is looking fishy for Hawks backers regardless of how the line is moving. This line appears as though its being deliberately moved for a reason.

Flyers win tonight
Think about this...the Hawks have a new stadium and all these new fans, over 22,000 at each game..where did they all come from considering they only had about 17,000 each night before 2007....
they salute all these new fans after each game at center ice by raising their sticks, not many nhl teams do this...
They will want to win the cup at home for the new fans....
dont expect the hawks to win tonight based on this...other than what i have stated....philly fans will keep the flyers motivated tonight, and pronger especially what happened in game 5 with his performanceComment -
I'd love to see the Blackhawks wrap this up tonite because anything can happen in a game 7. But the fact remains that Chicago hasn't won in Philly since 1996. That is a telling stat. No doubt Flyer fans will be pumped for this. The Flyers faced 4 straight elimination games with Boston so I don't think that scares them. Not sure how Chicago would be in a game 7 elimination game which is why I want so bad for them to win this tonight. The hell with winning it on home ice, just win it as soon as possible.Comment -

The less I have to put on Philly the better. They are my team. Chicago has a great shot at winning this game and I don't believe for one moment that they want to wait until game 7 to be in front of thier home crowd. However I also believe that Philly has an extremely good shot at winning tonight so game 7 could be unavoidable for Chicago. I know this seems that I am covering all the bases but everything must be considered. I don't see a blowout and think that OT is also extremely possible. Would I like to see my Flyers win by a blowout? Heck Yes. Both teams WILL play to a high standard in tonights game 6 and I feel that it will not be so much a case of one playing better than it will be a case of one team making mistake(s) that will cost them the game. I am rooting for my Flyers and hoping for game 7 on Friday night. I feel that the best wager on this game will be the over 5.5 goals.

Super smart too. I made a promise a long time ago to someone to not bet the NHL and I've broken it in the past month. The least I can do is follow someone who has a friggin clue how to bet the sport because I sure as hell don't and I'm the first to admit it.
