Alot of times it seems that way.

Fluke goals late in games have cost me a considerable sum this week. I cannot describe the frustration, I've wanted to chuck my remote at the TV on more than one occasion this week.

I'd compare it to a fumble late in a game that you are covering the spread with going against you and causing a no cover.

It seems that you never know when a supposedly good team will not play with any effort (like the NBA).
Personally, I've been most impressed with Carolina, I watch them dominate and control the game and win, then when I bet on them they look like girls playing shinny hockey.
