    VB 06/02 (Play #2)
    Philadelphia Flyers -130

If you watched the first 2 games you'd see that these teams are pretty much equally matched up. Both have skill on offense and are solid on defense.

In the 1st game each team took 32 shots on goal scoring 11 times. The goalies cleaned up their act in game two, which Chicago won 2-1. Niemi was amazing in that game. What stands out is that Philly outshot Chicago in game 2, 33 to 26. They were more agressive and had better chances on offense. They just couldn't put the puck into the net.

Home ice will be huge tonight. I expect the Flyers to come out with a renewed sense of urgency behind their crazed fans tonight. They are 2 for 7 on power-plays so far in this series and have been the more disciplined of the 2 teams (Chicago had 3 PP's in 2 games). I expect Philly to get a few more calls again tonight and capitilize on those in the game. Philly takes game 3 tonight at home, where the Blackhawks are 0 for 8 in their last 8 trips.

That was a close one. Flyers pulled it off: had more hits, more shots on goal, and won more face-offs.
      This is now a series!
