Hawks / Flyers Game 3 Plays!
First the recap. Easy winner in Game 2 with the Under with a 2-1 Hawks victory! My NHL playoff record is 6-3-1 +4.8. I'am doing well just picking my spots and breaking down certain games. Leighton bounced back like I thought he would and Neimi was just a monster in Game 2. Hawks now up 2-0 and all the pressure is on the Flyers to win this game. They lose this one and it's GAME OVER. How about the shit talk and aggressiveness out there in this series? Shit is getting really heated out there. Flyers have had the definite advantage on the power play factor. There have been 7 penalties called on the Hawks compared to a meager 3 on the Flyers. Yet, they have not been able to do much with them only capitalizing twice so far and Hawks failing to score on all 3 of their power plays. DEFENSE is the name of the game for these two teams. Yes, at times they both can explode for goals, but I just do not see that happening tonight, just like in Game 2. This is a gonna be a hard fought, spit in your face and cuss out your mother type of game. I'm sure the place will be rocking and everyone will be decked out in orange. To be completely honest, I think this game is going into overtime or someone wins in the late minutes of the game. Both games have been so close, each one being decided by 1 goal. That happens again here tonight. Going a little off my usual betting patterns but I believe I have a good read on this game. Here's a couple things I found stat wise for this situation. On one day rest, the Flyers are scoring 2.60 goals and giving up an almost identical 2.56, pretty damn close statistical wise, kind of why I think this one comes down to the wire possibly even to ot. Also, Flyers are a dissmisal 0-12 coming off a loss where they scored only 1 goal or less. Whereas, the Hawks are an awesome 25-6 and 13-3 on the Road when allowing 1 goal in the previous game. This team just feeds off of good team play, and it seems Flyers can't seem to shake the bad games off. So what is my conclusion? This is gonna be a ****ing awesome game and I expect it to be 2-2 maybe even 1-1 and we actually get to see a 4th period of this great Stanley Cup. I like the Under AGAIN just like the night before and as bad as I want to see the Hawks just sweep 'em they might lose this one, but not by more than a goal. No way No how.
