Jeff Carter skated on his own for about 15 minutes on Monday as he attempts to return from his broken right foot. He did a few laps and shot a few pucks but did not participate in practice. Carter is not expected to return for the Eastern Conference Finals but could be back for the Stanley Cup Finals if the Flyers make it.
Montreal
Paul Mara is scheduled to undergo surgery on his injured shoulder which has plagued him all year and he will miss the remainder of the season.
Andrei Markov underwent successful surgery to repair his torn ACL and will be out for upwards of 6 months..
