I can only suspect he's ghosting, have no way of knowing 100% so I can't agree he's posting regularly, I could agree if he posted as Nicky Santoro, which he doesn't do very often.

Gretzky was the best hockey player that ever breathed air, Lemieux gets an honorable mention.

Anyone that believes there was a better offensive defenseman than Bobby Orr simply doesn't know hockey and its history.
Orr won scoring titles as a defenseman - scorers are typically forwards - what Bobby Orr did was unheard of.

True, if selecting THE best player of all time you have to compare across positions and I still say Gretzky was the best ever.
Orr was simply amazing just because he was more of an offensive threat than most forwards in the league at the time he played.

Lemieux was excellent but I still rate him 2nd to Gretzky.

He is certainly in the discussion for the best net minder...along with a host of others.

But I don't think most people consider the best net minder the best player. Sorta like in baseball with pitchers and position players.

I agree with you in terms of them being difficult to compare and often not, but if we're talking about the best player to ever play in the NHL, Roy has to be part of that discussion.
