Noob NHL betting question, 2nd period

I bet infrequently. I placed a bet moneyline for the first period for the redwings in game 2. It pushed. I wanted to bet the 2nd period, and my sportsbook did not have odds for the moneyline for the 2nd period. Is this common to not post odds for periods in NHL playoff games?

Not every book will have in progress lines. Some will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd period odds but only before the puck drop.
