Andrei Markov. There is speculation out of Montreal that Markov suffered a very serious knee injury that could sideline him for the rest of the playoffs. He suffered the injury when he was hit hard into the boards during game one on Friday night against the Penguins. The Canadiens are waiting for swelling to go down around his knee before they order an MRI.
Jaroslav Spacek will not play Game 2 Sunday against the Penguins due to an undisclosed illness.
Pittsburgh
Tyler Kennedy skated with the fifth line on Thursday and was not ready to play in Game 1 against the Habs. He is questionable for game two as he is still recovering from a leg injury.
Jordan Leopold has still not played since taking a devastating hit from Senators defenseman Andy Sutton. He is dealing with concussion-like symptoms from the hit and is not expected to dress for Sunday's Game 2 against the Habs.
Jordan Staal left Game 1 on Friday night against the Canadiens with a foot injury. He needed surgery to repair a tendon in his foot and is expected to miss the rest of the series against the Canadiens. If the Penguins advance to the Eastern Conference Finals it is possible he could return.

Daniel Cleary was hit hard by Rob Blake during game one on Thursday and suffered a head injury. He is probable for Sunday's game two against the Sharks.
Patrick Eaves sustained an arm injury in the Coyotes series and is listed as questionable for Game 2 against the Sharks.
San Jose
Patrick Marleau was scratched from Thursday's Game 1 with a sudden bout of the flu but is expected to play in Game 2 Sunday against the Red Wings.
Brad Staubitz missed Game 1 with a lower body injury and remains questionable for Sunday's Game 2 against the Red Wings.
