west is stronger on paper but i can see the pens winning it all again- they have a pretty easy ride into the final.

I am going to pick Detroit winning the series in 5 games. Montreal has proven themselves the dark horse, I got them for the series.

The East blows. 3 of the 4 teams left in the hunt barely made the playoffs by the skin of their teeth. I was really pulling for Washington to make some noise this year, because now Pittsburgh gets a free ride to the Stanley Cup Final. The remainder of the Eastern matchups are going to be so boring.

Good call. Same could be said for any team coming out of the West though. Can't see any of those series' ending in less than 6 games.

Return of Savard makes BOS a sleeper threat. Have to respect them getting by Miller. Rask may pull off a Ward-like performance.

Pitt has had Philly's number all season there is no way philly will be a problem but boston on the other hand might be tough.

who knows what will happen. I was really surprised Montreal beat Washington. that was just crazy. I really thought that Wash was going to the stanley cup final for sure

I'd be surprised if Philly gets past Boston without Carter or Gagne.

Being from boston, savard coming back for us is key. We beat a good defense team in buffalo with probably the best goaltender is the league right now. Boston's PP without savard is 10%, with him its 20%(just to show how key he is for boston). hes such a playmaker and they still managed to win the series. Philly is in trouble without 2 of their best forwards and i dont think boucher can keep up what he did vs devils. Look for boston to win the series and probably play pitt which will be a good series.

haha yeah i was kinda expecting Pitt to play Boston in the second round but this would work as well. should make a good eastern final
