Looks like the caps have problems handling montreals small but skilled and speedy forwards. Also the caps goaltending situation is not ideal for a one game take all. Caps have been here before. They have been knocked out of the playoffs 2 years in a row in game 7 on home ice. Thoughts

this series reminds me of the boston-montreal 1st round match up in 08. habs up 3 games to 1. b's come back to tie up the series than get pounded in game 7. i see the same scenario this time. caps take it wednesday.

What a game-glad I went with Montreal although I much prefer Caps and Ovie. Felt bad for the dude post-game, you could see he was choked beyond belief. I personally used to feel that Europeans didn't really care about the Cup, more about the paycheck but players like him put that idea to rest. in 86, habs were barely .500 (87 pts) and upset everyone in the playoffs, and went on to win the CUP with a very hot goalie (roy) and today, it's halak.. that team had a ton of heart and they remind of me this current habs team. Today's habs had 88 pts...You just never know in the NHL playoffs.. anything can happen. in NHL playoffs, all it takes is 1 hot goalie, and you can win it all..
btw, went to the mall today and out of about 3,000 cars in the parking lot outside, about 1200 of those cars had habs flags on them. In every aisle at the grocery store, all you hear is habs habs habs.. This city is crazy for the habs..Comment -
