Marc Savard has been showing signs of improvement as he is feeling better and better every day as he recovers from his Grade 2 concussion. He hopes to be able to return for the second round of the playoffs if the Bruins are able to get by the Sabres.
Dennis Seidenberg has undergone surgery to repair his lacerated left wrist and will need eight weeks to recover. Seidenberg's only chance to play again this season is if the Bruins go deep into the playoffs.
Mark Stuart has been ruled out of the first round of the playoffs as he recovers from an infection in his left pinkie. He is not cleared to practice because of the antibiotics he's on and hopes to be able to return for the second round if the Bruins can get past the Sabres.
