    Is this smart or stupid?
So i bet on Phoenix to beat Detroit tonight. Bet $60 to win 67.20 (+112). Now Phoenix went up 1-0 in the 1st and there is a live line for Detroit at +175, so I bet $35 on that which pays $61.25. So now basically if Detroit wins I profit $1.25 and if Phoenix wins I profit $32.20. I know not huge profit but i'm freerolling now this way.

Now I don't know if this is actually a smart move or a dumb move. Any insight on this strategy would be appreciated. Thx and GL

At least your up money, doesn't matter who wins now although Phoenix is the better payoff. Think I would have bet a little more on Detroit. Take a smaller payout with Phoenix and a slightly better payoff with Detroit.

Was this not a good question or something? Why only one response?

It was a smart play. When you find an edge to make guaranteed money by all means take it like Lee Jones takes rake on pokerstars

Good play. It's rare but I'm always prone to take it when it happens.

Same thing happened to me in the Superbowl this year.
