Started off 2-0 last night, hoping to continue bringing in the bacon tonight.
Saginaw Spirit
Soo Greyhounds -197
My hometown Soo Greyhounds play their home opener tonight in what will be a rocking Steelback Centre. They already beat the Spirit in the first game of the season 7-5. What isn't noted in that score is the late comeback attempt by the Spirit. I can forgive the Hounds for that, as it was their first game of the season. They played much better defensively against Guelph and Owen Sound. The hounds are well rested and will get the job done again tonight against Saginaw.
PICK: Soo Greyhounds -197
Windsor Spitfires + 1 +113
London Knights
This line, I feel, is a bit off. The London Knights are without Kane, Gagner and Mason, who are at NHL training camps. Gagner is expected to return soon, but in the meantime with no Kane and Gagner the Knights offence is not very potent. The Spitfires have played very well so far in the early season. The only question with the Spits is that they are playing back to back games, and playing in London. I've taken them + the goal to be safe.
PICK: Windsor +1, +113
Erie Otters
Guelph Storm -164
Erie got blated 10-3 against Windsor earlier in the season, only to recover and beat Plymouth 6-4 the following night. Don't let that fool you though, Erie doesn't have a very good hockey team at all. They will be fighting for the playoffs this year. The Storm is coming off a 4-1 loss the the Soo, but I feel will recover here to beat an inferior Erie team.
