just plain out too much value (that word again) for a team that has no defense and suspect goaltending. Pens have been all over teams but have been snake-bitten and just cannot finish. that will end sometime. i'll back a defending Stanley Cup Champ getting such a price everytime.

And speaking of the Pens, they had Howard absolutely swimming on the ice a few times the other night, but could not finish. Blues played Wings tough even when they sucked last 2 years and desperation sounds like a good motivator. Conklin makes me nervous, but being able to cover a Blues win and OT and still have +odds looks too good to pass up
