im not sure how many of you nhl guys to college hoops or visit that forum but if your familiar with me i am always trying to learn and like sharing info unfortunately i much more qualified to share in col hoops nba and nfl.....dont really know who the guys over here are who i should be talking to but would love any kind of suggestions and help along the way as ive heard from several friends of mine they do well with nhl and id like to learn hopefully with the help of some of the fine ppl here i can add a new sport to my arsonal

i took the blackhawks in that 1 just simple because it seemed much like when the lakers or cavs are dogs in the nba its usually to go to be true and ppl get burnt and it loked that way to me in this one i mean caps at plus money? thought i was being sharp but the caps came back and bit me....

Gokhan...do you consistently turn a profit with this sport? ive been quite successful my whole life with nfl, picked up college hoops the last 3 years and am up a little over 10 gs this season hitting at around 65% for the year...this will be my second year of baseball and felt i learned a lot last year and hopefully am ready to turn a profit with that this year but would like to spend the rest of this season learning nhl not counting on making a killing but with every sport the 1st go around i just look to keep afloat and consider it a free education for the next season so any advice you could offer along the way would be much appreciated as im a very willing learner

in nhl odds much more related with the teams recent forms. in a week you can see a team really fav. next week you can see the same team underdog. so don't let the odds mislead you. even you can get value odds sometimes.(there can be a team really hot and struggling 'big team' , and you can see that hot team as underdog. don't hesitate to give it a shot. it's really more possible in nhl than nba that the bottom team beat the top team.

try to avoid playing favs so much, try to hit underdogs. i don't know if i'm on the plus. because, i don't play with a proper system. i parlay with football and nba sometimes. but DennisGreen is tracking our plays in his thread called "Play of the Day". i'm placed in the 3rd place with 11-3(i started with 8-0 streak). i think that's a good thing. btw don't be confused. i'm neuraxis. i had a problem with my account, so i had to get new one.

i think totals are where its at but like i said im very new to this i was out with some friends last night and i had a buddy of mine giving me a crash coarse but there only 1 way for me to learn and its just jumping in and doing work, hopefully it goes well

Good luck with your hockey picks man.... There's alot to follow in hockey, but the biggest in my opinion is goalie match-ups. There are a few different websites where you can get accurate info on starting goalies. When goalies get hot you want to ride them as much as possible. For example before Olympic Break Nitty for TB was on fire at home and most of the time TB still had good value because there not an elite team like Chi, SJ, Wash ect. Of course its also good to bet against struggling goalies as well especially with overs. In example Luongo has been far from sharp in the last month(at least for Vancouver), but the team seems to bail him out alot. I cashed alot on Vancouver's 9-0 over run in the last month, until last night's game was an under. Anyways I am far from calling myself a great capper but I have made some cash in hockey. I dont keep track of picks or units I just spit out opinions once in a while. I have been a silent observer in NBA and NCAA forums and have read some of your posts and you seem to no your sh*t.
