    A well rested Shark?
tonight the preds may get fed to the fish in the san jose shark tank.
preds eeked out a win vs the panthers tuesday after 2 straight loses to van and the wings. sharks have been resting peacefully since sunday. while this appears to be an easy game to cap on the ml, how about the o/u in this one?

over 5.5 sitting at even $ right now is tempting but 12 goals in their last 5 say otherwise
PO atmosphere scorefest or snoozefest? last time ellis faced the sharks it ended 4-3 sharks. i want to take the over but i need to like the over first

    thoughts?

To be honest I would stay away from this game. Yes the sharks are rested but remmeber Nash can't afford losing games like they have in the past week. They know redwings and calgary are on their tail. I woudn't say sharks is a easy pick. This game has risk written all over.

Normally I like the sharks but since olympic break they really havent looked as dominant as they usually do. I think I stay away from them with the heavy juice untill I see them dominate a game. As far as O/U i would lean under but I hate betting unders in hockey since it just takes a couple fluke goals to fcuk it all up. BOL on whatever you choose

Eight of the last nine games between these two teams have been decided by one goal, including all three this year. Thus, I'm taking Preds +1.5 (-155). The value there is way better than Sharks -230.

I'm thinking Nash +1.5 as well .. SJ have been Offensively weak as of late... I just hope they aren't going to break out now

Damn knew over was the play in this one. Apparently rest isn't always a benefit. Preds dominating the Sharks through 2 up 4-2 and outshooting the Sharks 34-11. WTF that is unreal, Sharks on home ice and getting outshot at a 3-1 ratio.

Nashville outscored 6-1 in the third. Chokers.

Congrats on the hit, though, Cecil

Pathetic showing by Nashville. 20 more shots and lose by 3 goals?

+1.5 is a nightmare, the favorite can wake up at any time and pop 3-4 goals like nothing, and even if your down by 1 goal its still never easy with empty net situations...

+1.5 in NHL is one of the worst things to bet on from a psychological standpoint.

but looking at the trends prior to puck drop it was a solid play. chit, it was a lock up until halfway through the 3rd.
