Guys I know some of you won't give two shits about this story, and others might think I'm downright lying, but a couple of minutes ago I probably the best gambling moment of my life.
Earlier tonight I lost all four of my nba bets by a total of 5 pts. That's right, I missed one total and a spread by 3 pts in one game, and a team total and game total by 2 in the other. Now I recently withdrew from my bookies the exact amount I started with, so this wouldn't have fukced up my life or anything as I'm only talking profit here, but I went way too big on these bets and lost about 15 units total.
Feeling the desperate urge to chase a game and make up some loses that we all know all too well I basically put my entire bankroll on the late hockey game tonight. Pending the bets I had $13 left in my account. The bets were CLB - KINGS over 5.5 at +121 and KINGS -1.5 +166. Both to win ten units.
Still totally bummed out from what happened earlier tonight I left to go workout before the game even started. I'm not gonna lie I was thinking about the game most of the way home and couldn't help hoping it was 3-0 kings, or 4-2 kings, or something optimistic like that. And what do you know? I get home with 5 minutes to go in the second and the kings are up SIX - NOTHING!!!
The blue jackets have only had 4 shots all game and both bets are as good as cashed.
Now the game isn't done yet, it's the end of the second (jackets have added one more shot) but I'm still sitting here basically speechless. I'm still going back to nhl.com and refreshing the page, just in case somebody is playing a prank on me.
Now guys I'm not here to brag and I know I sure didn't post these picks beforehand (I was in too shitty of a mood) so you could even call bullshit if you want. I'm not trying to advocate chasing either, these were very stupid bets by me, but well.. sometimes that's where miracles come from. Basically the only reason I'm posting is because I just earned the craziest 5 units of my life and felt like sharing. Live to bet another day and let's go Kings!!
