    what i like-wednesday 3/3
after a sleepless night followed by an early morning phone call (the kind where you wake up trying to shut the alarm clock off but it isnt the thing thats ringing) i decided to give up on rest & start looking at the matchups.

here's what i came up with after a quick rundown:
lines not yet up for Bodog so ill use pinny lines which i can assure you are better than what ill actually get.

Flyers-ml (-135) Florida is on a losing streak and the flyers are on fire. if i could id also take the PL in this one.(+224) vokouns hot streak is a distant memory...

hawks/oilers over 5.5 (-126) id take the hawks here but way to heavy of a fav for me. after last nights unimpressive showing i expect them to come out firing on the oilers. huet is in net and id like the PL here but thats not even coming close to paying +$. ill go with the over....of the last 3 games played between these 2 teams huet has been netminder twice and gave up 2 goals a game. i think the hawks can pick up the slack and get this one over 5.5.

wild/flames-under 5(+125) you have to go back to 2 years to find a game between these 2 that went over. 5 seems to be their magic total and the way both goalies played in the O's ill play the trend in this one.

    pole sitting pick:
nucks/wings: howard kept the avs from scoring more than 2 on monday. luggi gets to show off post O form tonight and keeps this one under 5.5 (-135)
on a very strange angle note: check out the o/u/p sequence of the past 10 meetings. 2007 to present its gone P-P-U-U-O-U-U-O-O-U. if i use the "are you smarter than a 5th grader" , "what comes next in this pattern" angle id take the under. maybe that last part is due to sleep deprevation i dont know again, a pole sitting pick meaning i could be swayed either way. especially by a fan of the Nucks whose name might rhyme with "Ennis Lean"

also would like to add the 5/7/8 exacta box in the 8th at Balmoral Park tonight.
5-Samstorm came from the 6 hole last week to finish 4th in 1:55.3
7-Jeremy Moon lit up the toteboard last week going off at 30/1 from the 6 hole to finish 1st in 1:56.1 (had the exacta in that race-cant go against him in current form)
8-Darn Skippy-Invades from Maywood Park where he also finished 1st(@10/1) in his last outing, pacing the mile in 1:58.2. Balmoral's got 4 less turns than maywood and last weeks 8 hole performance has me thinking he can overcome the post tonight as well.

aslo liking the 6 in the 1st race at balmoral tonight: red lace skivvies.
came in 2nd last out at odds of ~14/1. ml odds of 3/1 today but i think she gets the win tonight.

    sccoer parlay:
    international friendly games:
    turkey (-175)
    wales (+230)
    spain (+130)
    ~11:1

i also like a possible trip to upstate ny this afternoon with no date to return etched in stone....snowmobiling here i come! still on the fence with this pick but if i dont post for a few days you know where im at
