Post your Top 4 NHL Plays of the day

Ok here are my picks of the day -

1. Chicago over NY - I think Chicago is a clear fav here. They just simply dominate NY in every statistical way.

2. Philadelphia over Tampa - Again, this one simply comes down to the stats. Philly is also on a nice 4 game win streak including 2 on the road. Taking Tampa down on the road should be a cake walk especially after the big break.

3. Carolina over Toronto - Carolina has won 2 of their 3 meetings this year including their last match in Toronto in January. Carolina has also been playing great and are on a 5 game win streak while Toronto has only won 2 out of their last 5.

4. LA over Dallas - I felt I had a good thing going with road teams for tonight so for my fourth pick I went with the away team that I felt had the best chance to win. I think LA is simply a better team and should have an easy time against Dallas tonight. Their last two meetings have seen an LA win in OT and an LA win in a shoot out, tonight LA will have the game in the bag by the end of the 2nd.

Lost the Chicago game... oddly enough the one I had the most confidence on, but already got the Carolina game in the bag... feeling pretty good about the Philly game seeing as they are up 6-2 with 7 minutes to go, and I am really liking the LA game at 3-0 in the second.

Great day yesterday! Decided to add Pittsburgh at the last moment and they helped me to a 4-1 night. Bet 10 units in total and got 25.6 back for a return of 15.6!!

Not as many games to choose from today but I feel pretty confident with the picks. Best of luck to everyone!

1. Phildelphia over Florida - Every ounce of me wants to pick Florida in this game as Philly just seems way to good to be true but I just cannot bring myself to do it. In Philly's favor they had a nice 7-2 win lastnight bringing them to 6 in a row. Lasnight Florida had a a rough go against Atlanta, and Philly is much better than Atlanta, so when it boils down I have to put my money on Phildelphia.

2. Chicago over Edmonton - No possible way Chicago is losing to two huge dogs back to back, especially with the home rink advantage tonight.

3. Colorado over Anaheim - I don`t think this will be a popular pick but I am standing behing Colorado with this one. They are the better team, and for some reason they have lost the last 5 meetings to Anaheim... they will not make it 6 in a row tonight.

4. Vancouver over Detroit - Vancouver is fresh off a road win and all ready for another one tonight. I think Detroit was supposed to lose Monday night but got a little lucky and was probably playing off the hype of Babcock`s gold medal. I do think this will be a very close game, but I do think Vancouver will prevail.

Alright, I made the deicison I am dropped the Colorado game. After giving it some though I think it is just too hard of a match to pick a good winner on. I have replaced it with Washington over Buffalo.

So, my revised 4 plays for today are:

Phildelphia over Florida
Chicago over Edmonton
Vancouver over Detroit
Washington over Buffalo

Another pretty good night, though again, my #1 pick is the one that did not come through. I did not see any posible way that FLorida would win that game, but I will happily take 3-1 for tonights games.

In total I bet 10 units, won 16.11, for a profit of 6.11 units.

New record is 7-2
Profit since end of Olympic break is +21.71

Also PODSquad, thanks for making me revist that Colorado Anaheim game, I didn't end up following you on Anahiem, but I am some glad I cut my ties to betting on Colorado.

Even though Colorado did come back, still glad I dropped, wasn't a great play.

Washington – They beat Tampa in everything except penalty killing, and even that they are only down by half a percent. Tampa is also on a four game losing streak and I can't see them getting things together just quite yet, especially against a strong team like Washington.

Ottawa - Carolina actually somehow beat Ottawa back in January, so Ottawa will be looking for blood, especially after semi embarrassing loss to New York at home Tuesday night. Carolina is a nice six game win streak, but all good things must come to an end, and this win streak will win tonight.

Los Angeles - I think this is going to be the game to watch tonight as both teams are really strong, that being said I do feel LA has an edge that is strong enough to bet on, mostly due to their super strong defence. Nashville has managed to beat LA in all three meetings this year, and actually in their last five consecutive meetings. LA won't allow them to make it six.

San Jose - San Jose is 1st by a long shot in the Pacific and tied with Chicago in all of the West... and they are on a two game losing streak! No possible way they are losing tonight, especially against a weak Montreal.

After tossing the idea around all day I have given in and decided to add Toronto to my list to make it a 5 game night. I don't think Toronto will have an easy win tonight, but with the odds heavily against them I think it is well worth the risk
