Hats off to the Americans, they really played their hearts out. As for Canada, they proved these past few weeks that they are certainly the worlds best nation in hockey!

congrats to Canada....the was one of the best games I've seen in a long time....for a guy living in the south where hockey isnt that big, this game got my intrest back in the sport. Way to go USA, at least we played with some heart today! I was still proud!

Canada wanted it when it went to OT. The US didn't even have any scoring opportunities. It was a beautiful finish to a beautiful tournament.

There's no reason for either side to disrespect the other. It was a great game that would be awesome if it could be played more than every 4 years. I loved every second of it and I hope when it's in RUssia it's another Canada/US final!!

Silver medal for USA is a good result. In my previews, I placed Russia and Sweden with higher medal chances, so it is not a bad result. However, after they beat Canada, their draw was pretty easy; they did not play any top team to reach finals, only Finland. The other half of the draw was brutal.
