NO, you guys are TOTALLY missing the point. The initial shot he deflected out instead of covering up thus giving Canada another opportunity. If he had covered it up, all would have been well.

No because without Miller you wouldn't have made the finals at all. With Tim Thomas you guys wouldn't have even won the Bronze. You are blaming Miller for the loss when he doesn't deserve it. If you have to lose, losing to the best player on the planet (and a good guy by all accounts) makes it sting a little bit less...

Miller was the best player at his, the most important, position. Marty was off and Luongo was shaky. Take either of those guys away from Canada and they're still the better team. Take Miller away from USA and they're not in the gold medal game. I'd like to know who would get the MVP if not Miller? Pick someone, then pretend they're not with the team, and tell me that team is substantially weakened.
