Hello all.. this is my first time posting on this site, read it all the time never posted.. But i was checking the lines for this game at Sportsbetting.com and noticed something very interesting, i am not a hockey fan and really know nothing about hockey so i am not sure how betting works for hockey ok here is my question
the ML for USA is +140
the straight wager line for canada is -1 (+105)
so correct me if im wrong but say i put 100 dollars on each of those lines
USA wins i win 140 dollars, canada wins i win 105 dollars, either way i win, am i wrong on this or is there a situation that can occur where i can lose? i am really confused on this.. if canada wins by 1 is it a push and i lose the ML bet on the USA and essentially id be down 100 dollars? if someone can help me out id appreciate it..
