I think under 4,5 is better here, though Russia are prob. coming off heavily after the Slovak-incident since they got shut down pretty good offensively. Vokoun is solid and the Czechs did well against the Slovaks but it doesn't take much for Ovie and Ilja to score, and I think they are very well motivated to-day. Very tough to call the under/over here, clearly under is better but I think it's prob. right around the magic fivey. Even harder is pointing out the winner. A draw? Russia 2,3,4 - Czech 2,3,4? No bet, perhaps.

no way russia gets eliminated. and this is a must win game for them. elimination game for one of the favorites in the tourny. i will take them easy in desperation game. going to go big

caribsports versus bookmaker for russia-czech

Carib has czeck +1.5 -140 with total of 5.0 (over was -115)
Bookmaker has Russia -1.0 (-105) with total of 5.5

I took Russia -1 and offset czech +1.5 and than took over 5 and offset with <5.5

If the line doesn't hit I lose a few $ on the juice but hoping to "hit" the line on either one.

I'll probably play the Russians, I think Bykov will have his team 100% focused and they will bounce back after their defeat against Slovakia.
The Czech are good but I think russia will prevail in this important game.

does this mean if its 2-1 , that i would win this bet? or would i need a 3-1 to beat the spread

I know this is a pretty common knowledge thing but i havnt experience a 0.5 game before

That means you need russia to win in regulation time. That is win by 2-1 3-2 or alike.

-0,5 in hockey means the team you choose with the -0,5 handicap have to win in the 60 minutes. If the game goes to overtime you already know your -0,5 bet is lost.
As Jaug said, your team needs to win in regulation time.
