that copy and paste didnt work.....Basically Finland -2.5 (-125), with an over/under 5.5..............but the finland ML is -1863, and German ML is +1182

no kidding. finland is not exactly super-explosive............if sturm is playing for germany sneaking the +1182 in a longshot parlay might be a good idea

Liking under 5.5 here. Germany defended well against Sweden and I see no reason why they could not keep the score reasonably low. I'm Finnish, so I know the team pretty well. Good goalies, decent defense, but quite mediocre attackers. They might get the game rolling and score a bunch, but I think lower scoring affair is more likely.

I am thinking the under for sure. 5.5 is always a tough call though. A 3-2 game could easily be a 3-3 or 4-2 game with the goalie pulled in the last minutes of play.

I am thinking a 2-1 or 3-1 score though.

I don't know if I will take this bet yet or not.

I really don't think Finland will take it by 3 or more.

Teams are apparently less likely to pull goalies because of goal differential. That may not be the case for either of these teams who have yet to win a game.

the under is the play ... i havent seen a team pull thier goalie yet.. even belarus down 3-2 didnt do it.. also germany -2.5 is worth a look, if germany could hold Sweden to 2 goals i cant see why they cant hold fins to 3 or 2...

yea thats about the only reason ill bet these olympics. up late anyway, why not have it mean something, right?

i fear the latvians may have thrown the proverbial "monkey wrench" into my 3 team hockey parlay which includes germany +2.5. i think they played the toughest D in the olympics so far imo. which is why ill take them in the late-late game or if somehow the czechs win by 4 ill let my parlay take its course...
if i had to pick and o/u in this one(and i cant because bodog doesnt offer it

Germany's back up tender is apparently playing and it wont be Thomas Greiss.. Apparently a lot of German fans don't have much confidence it Patzold.

Just looking at Patzolds numbers this year and in recent past.. He's playing in the DEL this year with a GAA of over 3.. 3.23.. Whenever he's made the jump to more significant competition, whether it be the KHL or NHL his GAA is well over 5.

So, hopefully we can get this confirmed that he is indeed starting.

Also it should be pointed out that Sweden obviously just can't figure it out right now.. A 2-0 win over Germany, and a 3-2 win over Belarus, who Finland smoked 5-1. Wouldn't read too much into that Germany/Sweden game.

What is confirmed is Marco Sturm, the best player for Germany suffered an injury in the last game, but he will play tonight. Still if he's not 100% thats a problem for the Germans. I believe the German goal is to actually GET a goal or two so maybe they will loosen up their tight structured system. The flip side of that is they probably know they aren't going anywhere so it might be balls to the wall for this game.
